IMNO members to attend WRC hearing in bid end staffing row at Drogheda hospital

Members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) will attend a hearing at the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) this morning aimed at resolving a row over staffing levels at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

Nurses at the hospital are currently engaged in a work-to-rule, which will remain in place for the duration of today's hearing.

The meeting was requested by management at the facility yesterday.

INMO members say there are over 100 vacant positions at the hospital that must be filled as a matter of urgency.
