HSE warns strike may risk patient care
13/11/2009 - 07:25:01The HSE is warning of a serious risk to patient care when public sector unions strike on November 24.
Talks with health sector unions on contingency plans ended without agreement yesterday.
The HSE wants critical areas such as intensive care, cancer services, and the swine flu vaccination programme to be protected from the action.
It has written to the unions asking them to "reflect on their position".
