Members of the Psychiatric Nurses Association are refusing to work overtime in a row over compensation for attacks in the workplace.

It has led to the closure of mental health beds in Tallaght Hospital and an embargo on admissions at Naas General Hospital.

SIPTU and the PNA are due to meet on Tuesday to discuss escalating the action.
