A nursing home in Co Leitrim is being taken over by the HSE after having its registration cancelled by the Health Information and Quality Authority.

A nursing home in Co Leitrim is being taken over by the HSE after having its registration cancelled by the Health Information and Quality Authority.

The owner of Mullross Nursing Home in Carrick-on-Shannon has notified HIQA that he has accepted the decision of the Authority to cancel his registration as the provider of the home.

HIQA has asked the HSE to make alternative arrangements for the management of the nursing home as soon as possible.
