HSE reveal rise in childrens' orthodontic waiting list numbers
More than 13,000 children around the country are on waiting lists for orthodontic dental treatment, according to the HSE.
The HSE figures reveal that there has been a 20% increase in the figure since 2008.
Some children are having to wait more than four years to be treated.
