HSE planning property sell-off
22/03/2010 - 08:44:09The Health Service Executive is planning a major sell-off of its vacant properties to fund improvements in mental care.
The body has 57 vacant properties on its books, 18 of which have already been designated or considered for sale in Dublin, Cavan, Donegal, Kilkenny, Meath and Waterford.
The HSE has reportedly given a commitment that all of the money earned from sales of property would be used to replace ageing psychiatric institutions with modern facilities.
