House prices up 16% in year, CSO figures show
House prices rose slightly - by 0.6% - last month and are up almost 16% in the last year.
The CSO said the biggest rise was in Dublin - house prices rose 1% in April and 20% in the year.
Outside of Dublin, prices rose by 0.3% in April and by 11.4% in the year.
