Hospital waiting lists fall by 16%

Overall hospital waiting lists have fallen by 16% since the start of the year.
A new report from the Department of Health says there are now just under 50,000 people awaiting procedures.
It shows patients waiting more than nine months dropped by over 91% between January and September from 5,119 to 415.
One hundred and seventy of those patients are waiting more than a year compared to 800 at the start of 2012.
