Hospital consultants agree to talks on working arrangements

The Irish Hospital Consultants Association has agreed to enter talks at the Labour Relations Commission over working arrangements.
It comes after the consultants' body met with the HSE and Secretary General of the Department of Health this morning and agreed to enter talks this evening, with a view to reaching agreement by Sunday night.
Health Minister James Reilly warned yesterday that he was losing patience and would "expedite" proceedings if a deal was not done soon.
