Hogan confirms May 23 date for European and local elections
Phil Hogan has confirmed to the Dáil that European and local elections will take place on May 23.
Mr Hogan told the Dáil that the date was set by the Government at yesterday's Cabinet meeting.
Polling stations will be open from 7am until 10pm on election day.
