The Campaign Against Household and Water Taxes has said it has occupied Revenue's Kilkenny offices, in a protest against the Property Tax.

In a statement, the Carlow branch of the CAHWT said it will not bow to "intimidation" by either the Government or Revenue.

The group wants Revenue workers to refuse to collect the tax, and said this protest will be the first of many.
