Greyhound staff to strike over '35% pay cut'
One of Dublin's largest refuse collectors is denying a row at the company is like "an episode of The Sopranos".
It comes after TD Clare Daly told the Dáil that workers planning to strike at Greyhound Household are not fully trained.
Seventy staff who collect rubbish for Dublin City Council are set to strike from Friday, over what they say is a 35% pay cut.
In a statement this evening, the company says its crew is competent, fully licenced and qualified - and on a wage 10% above the industry standard.
