Greens say FF partly to blame for bad election results
07/06/2009 - 19:31:01A senior figure in the Green Party has said Fianna Fail is partly to blame for the Green’s wipe-out in the local elections.
According to Senator Dan Boyle, there is still a culture of cronyism attached to Fianna Fail that has hurt the Greens’ vote.
The junior coalition partner has lost all its city and council seats in Dublin, as well as seats in Carlow and Galway.
Dan Boyle said the Greens are paying the price for being in Government.
