Graham Dwyer's murder trial has heard that images, documents and videos describing women being raped or stabbed were found on a hard drive at his home.
For the second day in a row the court was cleared by Mr Justice Tony Hunt who again warned the jury they would hear evidence of a 'difficult nature'.
Detective Garda Brid Wallace has given details of finding dozens of sexually violent images and movie files on a hard drive at Graham Dwyer's Foxrock home.
One text document read out by Sean Guerin, prosecuting, purports to be an account of abducting and raping a woman at knifepoint in Newcastle.
Another, describing a rape in Dublin, was titled 'It was just so hot walking down Grafton Street'.
Detective Garda Wallace gave evidence that both documents were created in 2005.
Among the graphic content, the jury the hard drive also contained pictures of family holidays, and a pregnancy scan.
The 42-year-old architect from Kerrymount Close, Foxrock denies murdering childcare worker Elaine O'Hara at Killakee Mountain, Dublin in August 2012.
