Graduates extend education rather than risk joblessness

It seems graduates may be choosing to stay on in college rather than risking the labour market at the moment.

It seems graduates may be choosing to stay on in college rather than risking the labour market at the moment.

A new study by the Limerick Institute of Technology shows the number of students returning to education after they graduated last year was three times greater than in 2007.

Only 47% went straight into a job, down from 72% in 2008.
