The Government has announced plans to appoint a special envoy to ensure the findings made in a new report on world hunger are implemented.

The Government has announced plans to appoint a special envoy to ensure the findings made in a new report on world hunger are implemented.

The report from the coalition's Hunger Task Force was published this morning.

The document calls for political commitments to ensure hunger is given a priority and the introduction of programmes focused on maternal and infant malnutrition.
