Angry truckers have given the Government one week to come up measures to address the fuel crisis in their industry.
The Irish Road Haulage Association met Transport Minister Noel Dempsey yesterday to discuss soaring diesel prices which it says is threatening the livelihoods of truck drivers.
IRHA members are threatening to stop work from next Friday if something is not done to ease the burden of fuel costs.
They are insisting that the stoppage will go ahead if their concerns are not addressed.
