The Government is due to examine proposals to sell off our three main airports in an effort to raise funds for the country.

The Sunday Times reports that the Review Group on State Assets will present a report this week proposing the sale of Dublin, Cork and Shannon airports.

The coalition Government pledged to generate €2bn through the sale of non-strategic state assets in the recently-agreed Programme For Government.
