Government set to announce details of Children's Rights referendum today

The Government is expected to set a date for the Children's Rights referendum today.
The Cabinet is also set to sign off on the proposed wording of the referendum this morning.
"That is the general expectation that that matter will be resolved today," said Education Minister Ruairi Quinn.
Speaking on his way into that Cabinet meeting, the Minister also said that a date will be announced later.
It is understood that the referendum is likely to be held in November.
