The Government expects to pass the latest review of Ireland's bailout agreement which concludes in Dublin today.

Members of the EU, the ECB and the IMF have spent the past two weeks checking on Ireland's progress, before they will release the latest round of funding.

This is the sixth review of the bailout deal and the Government is confident it will have met all the targets set down by the EU, the ECB and the IMF at the conclusion today.

One key target is the decision by the Government to set up a new company to oversee the introduction of water charges.

Ministers Michael Noonan and Brendan Howlin will hold a press conference in Government Buildings today, but for the first time at the end of a quarterly review there will be no press conference held by the Troika.

It is understood they were anxious to avoid interfering with the EU Fiscal Treaty, ahead of next month's referendum.
