Business deals worth €65m have been made during the government's Gulf trade mission, the Government claims.

Business deals worth €65m have been made during the government's Gulf trade mission, the Government claims.

21 contracts have been signed and 95 jobs created for Ireland in sectors including manufaturing, mobile security and healthcare.

Taoiseach Enda Kenny and Jobs Minister Richard Bruton have been attending meetings in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates over the past week - along with Enterprise Ireland.

They hope to increase exports to the Gulf area to 1 billion euro over the next five years.
