Gormley appeals to public to conserve water

The Environment Minister is again pleading with people to conserve water today, despite a recent drop in demand.

The Environment Minister is again pleading with people to conserve water today, despite a recent drop in demand.

In Dublin, demand has dropped from its peak of 634 million litres to 554 million litres.

John Gormley says councils in the city and across the country are working flat-out to repair pipes, and he hopes that work will be done by the weekend.
