Geith International has confirmed it is to cut 79 jobs at its plant in Co Meath.

Geith International has confirmed it is to cut 79 jobs at its plant in Co Meath.

The firm is closing its manufacturing plant in Slane and moving the operation to China and Portugal.

However, 28 remaining jobs will be kept.

The engineering company currently produces buckets for construction machinery at its plant in Grangeith, in Slane.
