Two men killed in Tipperary truck crash

Two men were killed this morning after the lorry in which they were travelling lost control.

The incident took place around 9am this morning on the N24 east of Clonmel, Co Tipperary, gardaí said.

The names of the men have not yet been released. One of victims was 29 while the other was in his late 50s.

No other vehicle was involved in the accident.

Gardaí at Clonmel are investigating and the road is currently closed to facilitate a forensic examination. Emergency services are currently at the scene.
