Garth Brooks ticket holders to get full refund on July 15 - Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster has announced details of its refund plan for holders of more than 400,000 Garth Brook tickets.

In a statement released today the company said that anyone who purchased tickets over the phone, online or via mobile will receive a full refund, including service charge, on July 15.

The company advised customers to allow 7-10 working days for the refund to reach their account.

Anyone who bought tickets at a Ticketmaster ticket centre is obliged to to complete a refund form and either post this to Ticketmaster or hand it in to a ticket centre.

In both of these cases, customers will need to include the tickets with the form.

For anyone submitting the refund form, either by post or by hand, a full refund including service charges will be processed by bank transfer within 21 days of receiving the form and tickets.

The company said that anyone who paid by Laser Card - which has been decommissioned since February - would be contacted in order to supply updated payment details.

However, as for anyone who purchased a ticket from an unauthorised ticket seller - e.g. from an online ads or auction site - the news is not good.

" Individuals who purchased tickets from unauthorised ticket sellers will need to contact that ticket seller to obtain a refund," Ticketmaster advised.

Go to the Ticketmaster website to read the full terms and conditions and to download the refund form
