Gardaí warn of difficult driving conditions
As rain continues in parts of the country this morning, gardaí have reissued a warning about driving conditions.
Motorists are being advised to take extra care, and watch out for surface water on the roads.
They are also appealing for drivers to allow enough time for journeys and keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, keeping in mind the need for increased braking distances on wet surfaces.
