A man is to appear in court charged with the murder of Olivia Dunlea-O’Brien.

A man is to appear in court charged with the murder of Olivia Dunlea-O’Brien.

The 36-year-old's body was discovered in an upstairs bedroom of her house following a fire at Pembroke Crescent, Passage West, Co Cork on Sunday morning.

A postmortem later revealed that she had died from stab wounds.

Gardai arrested the 36-year-old man on Sunday in the Passage West area and he is being detained at Togher Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
