Gardaí searching for two Dublin men believed missing in Co Cavan have released descriptions of both men as well as a car in which they are believed to have travelled.

Gardaí searching for two Dublin men believed missing in Co Cavan have released descriptions of both men as well as a car in which they are believed to have travelled.

The men have been named as Eoin O Connor (32) and 33-year-old Anthony Keegan.

Both men were last seen in Dublin on Tuesday evening and are believed to have travelled together to the Cavan area in a silver Ford Focus with the registration number 04 D 46380.

Mr O'Connor is described as being 6’’ tall, of stocky build with short brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen he was wearing a grey track suit bottoms and a blue windbreaker type jacket with a hood.

Anthony Keegan is described as being 5’ 10’’ tall, of medium build with short brown hair and brown eyes.

Anyone who can assist in locating these two men or the silver Ford Focus car they were travelling in to contact Ballymun Garda Station on 01 6664400, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any garda station.

Meanwhile gardaí in Cavan are advising farmers in the Ballyjamesduff and Bailieborough areas to report any unusual activity when checking their livestock and crops this evening.

Gardaí are also asking the public to report any suspicious vehicles to Bailieborough Garda Station.
