The body of a man, believed to be John Ryan, has been discovered during a search of the Boyne River in Drogheda yesterday.

The body of a man, believed to be John Ryan, has been discovered during a search of the Boyne River in Drogheda yesterday.

The body, which was wearing a navy jacket, beige jeans, and navy shoes, has not been positively identified.

However, Gardaí in Drogheda are satisfied that it is the body of John Ryan who has been missing from his home in Mornington, Co. Meath since Tuesday, August 19.
