Gardaí release man questioned in connection with Kinsale deaths

Gardaí have today released a man without charge after he was questioned in connection with the deaths of two young men in Kinsale last weekend.

He was the fourth person to have been detained following the deaths of Michael Coleman and Liam Coffey. Three others have also been released.

Gardaí believe the men may have consumed a powder containing ecstasy, which could have contributed to their deaths.

The case prompted the HSE to warn recreational drug users in the area not to take it.
