Gardaí in Dublin recovered a large amount of stolen property after a search operation on the north side of the city last night.

Gardaí recover stolen items after 'wave of shoplifting'

Gardaí in Dublin recovered a large amount of stolen property after a search operation on the north side of the city last night.

Among the items recovered from the apartment on the North Circular Road, were new clothes from well-known department stores, mobile phones and jewellery.

Gardaí believe the clothes were stolen during a recent wave of shoplifting.

No arrests were made and investigations are continuing.
