Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to question two teenage girls after a fire which caused extensive damage to a house in the city.

Gardaí in Limerick are continuing to question two teenage girls after a fire which caused extensive damage to a house in the city.

The pair were arrested yesterday over 24 hours after the blaze tore through the home on the South Circular Road.

No one was in the house at the time.

Two teenage boys who were arrested close to the scene, were released without charge yesterday afternoon.
