Gardaí name student killed in Cork crash

The UCC student who was killed in a crash in Cork last night has been named locally.

The UCC student who was killed in a crash in Cork last night has been named locally.

21-year-old Adam Buggy from Tralee in Co. Kerry died after being knocked down on the South Ring Road in Douglas just after midnight.

He had been studying Arts at UCC and had earlier been attending a ball at the nearby Rochestown Park Hotel.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to contact them at Douglas garda station.
