Gardaí name Meath road accident victim

Gardaí have named the man who was killed in a road accident in Co Meath last night.

He was 56-year-old Nicholas Reilly from Castlemartin in Navan. He was one of three people killed on the country’s roads overnight.

Two 18-year-old men died in a collision between two cars near Gort in Co Galway.

Two other people who were injured in the crash are in a stable condition in University College Hospital Galway.

The accident happened at Coole Park, on the N18, shortly after 9.30pm last night.
