Gardaí name man found dead under suspicious circumstances in Kilkenny
Gardaí investigating the suspicious death of a man in Kilkenny have named him as 42-year-old Anthony Barrett.
His remains were found in a house in Fatima Place at about 7pm on Thursday evening.
A post-mortem has been carried out but gardaí say they won't be disclosing the cause of death for operational reasons.
They are appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who was in the area between Wednesday and Thursday evening to contact Kilkenny Garda Station.
