The 16-year-old who died when the car he was driving crashed in Co Cavan on Saturday night was Daniel Boyle, from Shantonagh in Cootehill.

The man killed at Ballyconnell in Co Cavan last night was 34-year-old Francis McGoldrick, of Carrowshee Park, Lisnaskea, Co Fermanagh.

Meanwhile, 56-year-old Dublin man, Sean MacAogain, of Abbeyfield in Killester, died in a crash just after midnight yesterday at Enfield in Co Meath.

The woman who died in a collision in the Tallaght area of Dublin has been named as 37-year-old Katishe Madire, from Belgard Heights.
