Gardaí look to ditch ties in the summer
Gardaí want to do away with their neck ties during the summer months for a new practical uniform that is fit for purpose.
Delegates at the GRA's annual conference in Killarney Co Kerry have passed a motion calling for a full review of their existing uniform.
They want the review to consider seasonal changes and the individual needs of officers in different units.
