Gardaí in Co Waterford are investigating the death of a cyclist yesterday.

Gardaí in Co Waterford are investigating the death of a cyclist yesterday.

A 32-year-old man was traveling in the Stradbally area at around ten 6.50pm when his bike collided with a car.

He was taken by ambulance to Waterford University Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The road is currently closed while Gardaí carry out a technical examination of the scene with diversions in place.
