Four men have been arrested in connection with a series of robberies in Dublin.

Gardaí from Mountjoy, Finglas and Blanchardstown Garda stations investigating a number of robberies in West Dublin area yesterday arrested the five men this morning.

Five men, aged between 14 and 19 years of age, were being held at Blanchardstown and Finglas Garda Stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.

Four of them have been charged and are due to appear before Blanchardstown District Court this morning.

The fifth man was released without charge.
