Gardaí investigating man's death in Wexford free man without charge

Gardaí have released without charge a man they had been questioning about the suspicious death of a man in Co Wexford.

The body of the man, who was in his late forties, was found at a house in Ballinatray Lower near Courtown Harbour on Christmas Eve.

A man in his forties was taken from the scene to Wexford General Hospital for treatment and later arrested.

Gardaí say he was released late last night without charge.

A post mortem is due to take place at Waterford Regional Hospital this morning.
