Two men who were being questioned as part of investigations into the murder of Detective Garda Adrian Donohoe have been released without charge.
The men, one in his 30s and the other in his 70s, were arrested near Dundalk in Co. Louth on Thursday morning following the search of six premises.
Adrian Donohoe was shot dead during the botched robbery of credit union in Bellurgan, Co Louth last month.
Gardaí said the arrests were not directly linked to the murder.
