Gardaí investigate Kildare sulky race
A previous sulky race in Cork
An investigation is underway in to a sulky race in Kildare.
It happened on the road between the Moate of Ardscoil and Athy at 6pmyesterday evening.
Six vehicles were involved, three of which blocked the road to traffic to allow the sulky horse and traps to race.
Some of the participants hung out of car windows filming the event.
Gardaí in Athy have launched an inquiry into the incident.
