Gardaí investigate double body find in Carlow
Two bodies have been found on two farms in Co Carlow.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding the discovery at Ballycormack, Bagnalstown, Co.Carlow.
At 4am fire brigade officers responding to a report of a fire at a farmhouse near Bagnalstown discovered the body of a man believed to be in his early 70s.
The body of the man remains at the scene and the area is sealed off pending a technical examination.
At 9am the body of a second man was discovered in a farm building on an adjoining farm.
This man is believed to be in his 60s and his body remains at the scene.
The State Pathologist and forensic examiners from the Garda Technical Bureau are on the way to the scene.
