Gardaí investigate armed robbery in Wicklow
An investigation is continuing in to an aggravated burglary in West Wicklow this morning.
Two men, armed with a knife and a hatchet, entered Centra in the town at 7.30am, threatened staff and demanded cash.
They made off with a four-figure sum in a waiting 08-registered Audi, driven by a third man, which was either black or silver.
It travelled from Dunlavin in the Naas direction, but then turned towards Hollywood and the Wicklow Gap.
Gardaí at Baltinglass are asking witnesses to contact them on 059 648 1022.
