Gardaí are continuing to question seven people in connection with an investigation into an alleged plot to kill a Swedish cartoonist.
The four men and three women were arrested following raids in counties Waterford and Cork yesterday.
Cartoonist Lars Vilks was at the centre of a row over drawings of the head of the Prophet Muhammad on the body of a dog back in 2007.
The publication of his drawing in a Swedish newspaper caused outrage in the Muslim community.
Gardaí say their investigation has been ongoing for a number of months
