A 68-year-old man has gone missing from his home in Co Kildare.

Gardaí concerned for man who goes missing on Christmas Day

A 68-year-old man has gone missing from his home in Co Kildare.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for the public's help in tracing Pat Buckley, who is missing from his home at St Evins Park, Monastrevin, Co. Kildare since 11am on Christmas Day.

Mr Buckley was last seen at the family home at St. Evins Park, and he may be driving his silver Audi A4, registration 11 KE.

He is described as 5’6", with grey hair going bald, and he has a grey beard and moustache.

When last seen he was wearing grey trousers, a blue shirt and a maroon tank top. He also wears glasses.

Gardaí and Pat's family are concerned for his safety and are appealing for anyone with information about Pat or his car to contact them at Kildare Garda Station on 045 527730, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

UPDATE AT 7.30PM

Pat Buckley has been located safe and well.
