Gardaí searching for two missing Dublin men are focusing their operation in an area on the Cavan/Meath border.

32-year-old Eoin O'Connor and 33-year-old Anthony Keegan, who are both from Coolock, have been missing for almost a week.

The pair, who are known to Gardaí, were last seen on Tuesday evening of last week before travelling to Cavan.

The silver grey Ford Focus car, used by the men, was discovered outside Mullingar in Co Westmeath on Friday.

The Garda search is being prioritised today at a location in the Mountnugent area close to the Cavan/Meath border.
