In Dublin, a 44-year-old unemployed man has been accused of operating a "drugs factory" from his home in Ballyfermot.

Darren Raymond of Lough Conn Terrace was arrested on Friday after Gardaí found more than €500,000 worth of cannabis and cocaine at his house.

Raymond was arrested and more drugs were found during a follow-up search at another location in Tallaght.

He was remanded in custody with consent to bail and is due before Cloverhill District Court again tomorrow morning.
