Three men and a woman have been charged with drugs offences following the discovery by gardaí of a €600,000 cannabis growhouse in an industrial estate in Cork city at the weekend.

Three men and a woman have been charged with drugs offences following the discovery by gardaí of a €600,000 cannabis growhouse in an industrial estate in Cork city at the weekend.

Lan Ngoc Le and Chen Yan, both of No Fixed Abode, were each charged with three offences relating to the seizure of cannabis herb and plants on March 29, 2014.

A third man, Gui Yu Yang and a woman, Margaret Lee Wu, are charged with possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis for sale or supply at the same address.

Mr Le, who is Vietnamese and Mr Yan, who is Chinese, were remanded in custody to appear in court again via video link on Thursday.

Ms Wu, a mother of two from Tolka Vale in Finglas in Dublin and Mr Yang, of Station St., Clongriffin in Dublin were released on bail to appear in court again on April 30.
