Gardaí ask people to come forward over 1.5m breath test controversy

The Gardaí are calling for anyone with information over the breath-test controversy, to come forward.

It was recently revealed that nearly 1.5m falsified breath tests were recorded on the Garda pulse system.

The GRA responded saying none of their members falsified roadside tests, but some were told by senior officers to elevate the figures.

An Garda Síochána released a statement at the weekend saying it wants to thoroughly address the controversy and ensure it never happens again.
